Chores stay with the right person after they join
A chore assigned to someone before they accepted their invitation is now theirs to complete the moment they join, whatever email address they sign in with. Invitations sent before invite codes existed have been retired — if someone you invited a while ago never joined, send them a fresh invite and they'll get a code and a link that works with any account.
