Update artwork for Smoother Kiosk Mode on mobile
Bug Fix

Smoother Kiosk Mode on mobile

Completing your last chore in Kiosk Mode on the mobile app no longer shows a spurious error when tapped quickly, and the "All done!" celebration now plays once instead of repeating. The shared-tablet screen also refreshes quietly in the background instead of flashing a loading spinner every few seconds.

Athena now “thinks” before sharing chore ideas

While Athena prepares suggestions, you'll see a delightful new moment instead of a loading spinner: Athena's avatar gently glows and “thinks” about your family's progress, with encouraging messages that build as she works. When she's ready she celebrates and reveals her ideas one at a time, each with a friendly reason. If she can't find something new, or is briefly unavailable, she says so kindly and falls back to her saved suggestions. The whole experience respects reduced-motion settings and works on web and mobile.

Smarter chore ideas powered by Athena

When your family connects the Athena learning companion, the suggested "ghost" chores that appear when there's nothing left to do are now AI-personalized — age-aware, mindful of what's already been done, and each with a short reason, difficulty, and time estimate. If Athena isn't connected or is unavailable, the familiar built-in suggestions still appear. Parents can also set a child's birth year on their profile so suggestions fit their age, and every suggestion still needs a parent's OK before it becomes a real, paid chore.
